Living Earth Eco-Farm Tour , located in a farm set in a beautiful valley surrounded by forests and rivers, right next to Carara National Park. Family-owned by Costa Ricans since 1976, it sustainably combines environmental protection with traditional agricultural production.
On this tour, you’ll enjoy an immersive, authentic experience with a Costa Rican family on an ecological, sustainable farm. During the visit, you can:
Visit the organic plots and learn about our traditional and modern cultivation methods.
Tour the farm, where you’ll find areas for broiler chickens, tilapia, pigs, and other animals.
Milk a cow and learn the process of making homemade cheese.
Walk along natural trails, where you can observe birds of different colors and species.
At the end, we’ll invite you to our ranch to enjoy a delicious, typical Costa Rican snack, with hand-patted tortillas, fresh farm cheese, homemade bread, and more.

Since 1979, the land has been worked using sustainable development practices. The 25 hectares are divided into areas for agriculture, livestock, and forest. Today, more than 50% of the property is dedicated to biodiversity, which attracts large numbers of birds that nest in the tree branches, as well as wildlife such as monkeys, wildcats, and coatis, who quench their thirst in the crystal-clear waters we have protected for years. That water flow has increased thanks to the shade and regeneration of the forest.
We also protect 10 hectares of primary forest, located on the highest part of the farm, where the spring that supplies the entire property originates.

Appointments or services must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any penalties. If the cancellation is made within this timeframe, the amount previously paid will be refunded, minus any associated bank transaction fees.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are non-refundable, except in cases of force majeure with proper justification.
