He will show you many things during the tour but also gives you advice on what to do around and even take you to a secret spot to see some special species! Highlight of our Three Week Trip Vic Tours was the highlight of our 3 week trip to Costa Rica. We did the Tarcoles River Morning Bird Watching Tour, and the next day did the Carara National Park Tour. Both tours ended up being private and Vic brought his wonderful daughter along to help with guiding. They were enthusiastic, personable, kind, respectful, and immensely knowledgable. When they found out that I had hoped to see Scarlet Macaws, they planned a meeting point accordingly to maximize our chances of seeing them feeding. At one point in Carara, we practically stumbled on a toucan right above our heads. The river boat cruise early in the morning was atmospheric, peaceful, and educational. We really appreciated the knowledge and naturalist expertise of Vic's Tours. We learned a lot. I cannot recommend them enough. They also came highly endorsed by my Lonely Planet guidebook, which was why I chose them. Looking back on our trip to Costa Rica, we realize that the tour operators we chose along the way made all the difference, so you really want to choose guides carefully.

A wonderful flora and fauna-filled experience Victor is such a wonderful and very knowledgeable guide. He was very thorough and spoke to us a lot about Costa Rica history, flora, and fauna. We saw so many animals including: monkeys, frogs, variety of birds, insects, bats, and many interesting plant species inside Carara National Park. If you are in this area of Costa Rica I would highly recommend Victor as your guide in the parks!

Awesome wildlife tour experience Victor was extremely knowledgeable and warm. We saw dozens of classes and species of wildlife with him and got to get up close and personal using his telescope.
