This renowned natural sanctuary is one of the best spots to observe birds such as trogons, jacamars, antbirds, migratory species, raptors, toucans, and many others. But the true star of the show is the vibrant scarlet macaw —a breathtaking sight no bird lover should miss.

Upon arrival at the park, you’ll be welcomed by a certified naturalist guide equipped with a professional telescope and binoculars, who will accompany you throughout the tour. You’ll feel like a pro photographer as you capture stunning images through the telescope lens with your phone.
The excursion includes visits along various trails—including, weather permitting, the Meandering Lagoon Trail. This unique lagoon was naturally formed by former curves of the Tárcoles River, which, over time, became separated from the main flow, creating a vibrant wetland ecosystem teeming with life.
In case of weather changes, we will have the option to visit other areas of Carrara.
Appointments or services must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any penalties. If the cancellation is made within this timeframe, the amount previously paid will be refunded, minus any associated bank transaction fees.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are non-refundable, except in cases of force majeure with proper justification.
