Since its founding in 2003, VicTours has been dedicated to providing high-quality tours and transfer services throughout Costa Rica’s Central Pacific region. Located in Jacó, in the heart of Costa Rica’s Central Pacific region, we’re perfectly positioned to organize unforgettable adventures to the area’s most iconic destinations—with warmth, professionalism, and a personalized touch.
Some of our tours take place on our farm, acquired in 1978. Back then it was mostly cattle pasture—those were years when landowners were encouraged to clear forest to open more grazing areas. Vida Tierra EcoFarm had virtually no forest cover.
My father, a farmer and rancher, was also a visionary and an environmental protector. He chose to preserve the trees growing around the stream that crosses the property: “without trees there is no water,” he used to say. It was my parents and me at first; later my four siblings were born. Thanks to that decision, we all grew up with pure spring water sourced on the farm.
Over time, we reforested and organized the 25 hectares into agriculture, livestock, and forest areas. Today, more than 50% of the property is dedicated to biodiversity, attracting numerous birds that nest in the trees and wildlife such as monkeys, wildcats, and coatis. The river’s flow has increased thanks to the shade and regeneration of the forest.
We also protect 10 hectares of primary forest on the highest part of the farm, where the spring that supplies the entire property originates.
Today, my parents enjoy their grandchildren walking the trails and admiring nature in all its splendor. We are committed to sustainable development and are a living example of how it works in practice. We invite you to experience it.
Founder
Víctor Mora, is a professional naturalist guide certified as a Costarican Tour guide with emphasis on Tropical Biodiversity and Central pacific birds, also have academic training in the field of Biology. His passion for the natural and cultural wealth of Costa Rica drives him to share each journey with enthusiasm, enriching the traveler’s experience with anecdotes, curious facts, sightings of flora and fauna, and revealing the hidden gems of every destination—turning each adventure into a meaningful and memorable one.
